Our WORSHIP is inclusive, which means we embrace a blend of worship preferences, drawing upon the best of what is new and old, innovative and traditional, current and historical, free and structured. We enjoy praise through music and song from our worship band, piano, and choirs (vocal and handbell); preaching that is grounded in the authority of God’s Word; and prayer before, during, and after the service. Children and adults together share in the worship during the opening elements, after which our young ones are dismissed through prayer to their TPC Kids time.
Our COMMUNITY is “inter-generational”, which means we span in ages under 1 to over 90, all who engage together in worship, study, and mission. We have a robust children’s and youth ministry, adult discipleship groups, and senior fellowship activities, all seeking to embody what it means to live in genuine love and hospitality for one another, regardless of where we may be in our journey toward wholeness.
Our MISSION is “small town/big world”, which means we are committed to involvement in local missions such as feeding the hungry and housing the homeless (e.g., ECHO), reaching out to students (e.g., Youth for chirst, Front Porch Cal Poly), as well as global missions such as safe water in third world countries, orphanages and schools in Uganda, China, and Thailand (e.g., ZOZU), justice for abused women in India (CSJ), and supporting churches in areas of persecution in the Middle East (Turkey, Iran).
Our THEOLOGY is “Christ-centered”, and you can see what that means in “WHAT WE BELIEVE“.
