Brief Company History
John Ortiz has been a DJ since 1978. He began by working events throughout the greater LA and Orange county areas, handling events for celebrities and movie industry events. He also worked as a DJ for weddings and other events. After his time in the big city, he later moved to the Central Coast of California to be closer to family. He then partnered with Michelle, his wife, who became very active in the business ventures. Together, they branched out working to provide an assortment of different services in the DJ business.
Brief Owner Bio
Every since John Ortiz went to the school dances, in Junior High, he knew what he wanted to do for a career. He wanted to be a DJ with two turntables and a microphone. In Jr. High, he worked to get himself what he needed to begin his days as a DJ. Ever since, he has been spinnin’ the most up to date, sickest and illest tracks while packin’ the dance floor with party people night after night. At his DJ engagements, he makes it hard for guests to just sit there on their hands and not get up and dance. Working as a DJ at over 5000 weddings, in addition to other parties and corporate events, in his 30 plus years in the industry, he is still getting as much enjoyment out of being a DJ as ever. John has been providing DJ services and rental equipment for Weddings, Corporate Events, Birthdays, School Events, Anniversaries, Yacht Weddings, and more.

I was born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA and am lucky to call it my hometown. After 20 years, I followed my family to beautiful Paso Robles, California where I have called home ever since. I have been planning weddings and events in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties for the past sixteen years. When I’m not planning weddings you can find me with my son looking for shells on the beach or at The Happiest Place On Earth. I absolutely love planning weddings! I put my heart and soul into each wedding. I cry when the bride walks down the aisle and when the groom dances with his mom. I feel what I am doing. It means everything to me to have happy brides and grooms. You only get one chance to make their day perfect. I take this task very seriously.

I am available for any event, any party, any size. For example: Corporate event and dinner parties. Holiday, anniversary, birthday and retirement parties. From 5 to 1000, no guest list too small or large.
