Templeton Performing Arts Center announces fall entertainment lineup
Scriptless in Seattle will close the featured fall lineup Saturday, Nov. 21, with a night of completely unscripted comedy.
– The Templeton Performing Arts Center will host four professional touring productions this fall, featuring a Johnny Cash tribute, Beatles music, family theater, and live improv comedy.
The lineup includes the return of an audience favorite and three productions appearing at the Templeton Performing Arts Center for the first time. The performances are part of a broader calendar that also includes school productions, community events, independent producers and visiting artists.
James Garner’s Tribute to Johnny Cash
James Garner’s Tribute to Johnny Cash will perform Friday, Sept. 4. Garner and his band will return to the Templeton Performing Arts Center for their third appearance, performing songs from throughout Johnny Cash’s career and sharing stories about the music and the man behind it.
Garner’s two previous appearances at the venue sold out. This year’s performance is being co-presented with the Templeton Performing Arts Center Foundation.
Following an earlier appearance, Garner called the venue “the best-kept secret on the Central Coast” and encouraged local audiences to experience a show at the venue.
Yesterday: A Tribute to the Beatles
Yesterday: A Tribute to the Beatles will perform Saturday, Sept. 19. The production brings the music and energy of the Beatles to Templeton.
Founded by Don Bellezzo, the production has performed Beatles music since 2000 and toured extensively throughout the United States and across five continents.
Yesterday has also received the endorsement of Sir Paul McCartney.
Cinderella
Panto USA’s professional touring production of Cinderella will come to Templeton Saturday, Oct. 3, for two family performances presented by the Templeton Performing Arts Center Playhouse, the Foundation’s youth theater and performing arts education program.
Created with younger audiences in mind, the production combines music, comedy, colorful characters, and audience participation.
Unlike the Templeton Performing Arts Center Playhouse’s locally produced youth productions, Cinderella features the professional touring performers of Panto USA.
All ticket proceeds from Cinderella benefit the Templeton Performing Arts Center Foundation and its continued work at the performing arts center.

Scriptless in Seattle will close the featured fall lineup Saturday, Nov. 21, with a night of completely unscripted comedy.
Using suggestions from the audience, the professional improv troupe creates scenes, characters, improvised music, freestyle rap, film noir-inspired stories and other performances on the spot.
Some audience members may find themselves joining the performers on stage. The production is family-friendly and is intended for teens, adults, families and anyone who enjoys comedy.
The Templeton Performing Arts Center Foundation is bringing the touring production directly to Templeton, with all ticket proceeds benefiting the nonprofit Foundation.
Broader 2026 calendar
“These performances show what is possible as TPAC continues to grow as a home for professional entertainment, education and community events,” said Vicki van den Eikhof, co-founder and president of the Templeton Performing Arts Center Foundation Board of Directors. “The progress we have made reflects the work of our Foundation members, the support of the TUSD administration and Board of Trustees, and the leadership of TPAC Managing Director Ryan Flores. We hope the community will come to experience the theatre and help us continue building what is possible here.”
The four featured productions are part of a broader calendar of activity coming to the Templeton Performing Arts Center throughout the remainder of 2026.
