Summer Concert Series returns to Atascadero Lake Park Aug. 1
– The City of Atascadero has announced the return of its “Saturday in the Park” Summer Concert Series, with four free concerts scheduled throughout August at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand.
The series begins Aug. 1 at 6:30 p.m. with the Josh Rosenblum Band.
Josh Rosenblum, a Central Coast musician, draws on jazz influences while incorporating elements of pop, southern rock, soul, and country into his music. He formed his band in 2008, has released seven studio albums, and regularly tours throughout the western United States.
The remaining concert schedule includes:
- Aug. 8: Lady and The Tramps (rock, R&B, soul, and blues)
- Aug. 15: The Electric Lavender Train (classic rock ‘n’ roll covers)
- Aug. 29: The Cinders Blues Band (danceable blues)
All concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand and are free to attend. Attendees are encouraged to bring low-back chairs.
Food vendors will be available during each concert. Paradise Shaved Ice is scheduled to attend the Aug. 1 performance.
