Update: Stabbing suspect located and arrested

–As first reported by Paso Robles Daily News, on Jan. 14, the Paso Robles Police Department responded to a stabbing that occurred in a trailer, parked in the Woodland Plaza II parking lot. The victim, a 16-year-old male, was stabbed in the neck and fled to the nearby Chevron gas station. He was conscious and immediately attended to by emergency personnel. The victim was later transported to a Sierra Vista Hospital, where he underwent surgery and is in critical but stable condition.

Officers learned of an altercation between the 16-year-old male and the owner of the trailer, 24-year-old Michaela Twyman. Twyman knew she was a person of interest in this investigation and fled and hid from law enforcement. Paso Robles Police detectives began to work the case and search for her.

On Thursday, Twyman was located by the Paso Robles Police Department Community Action Team while walking on railroad tracks just south of San Miguel, Calif. She was placed under arrest and transported back to Paso Robles so detectives could speak with her. She has since been booked at the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office main jail facility for attempted murder.

Female suspect remains at large

–On January 14, 2020, the Paso Robles Police Department responded to a stabbing that occurred in a trailer parked in the Woodland Plaza II parking lot. The victim, a 16-year-old male, had been stabbed in the neck and fled to a local business. He was conscious and immediately attended to by EMS. The victim was later transported to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Officers learned of an altercation between the 16-year-old male and the owner of the trailer, 24-year-old Michaela Twyman. Michaela Twyman was last seen on foot leaving the trailer within minutes of the stabbing. The weapon used in this incident was a folding pocketknife and has been recovered. Michaela Twyman has not been contacted by law enforcement and is still outstanding.

Female suspect at large after stabbing incident at Niblick Chevron

–On Tuesday night at approximately 7:30 p.m., authorities responded to the Chevron at 190 Niblick Road in Paso Robles to a male with a reported laceration to the neck reportedly caused by a female suspect.

The female assailant is reported to have left the scene in a vehicle shortly after the stabbing.

Paso Robles police checked a nearby RV looking for a female suspect to no avail and are currently investigating in the area. A clerk working at the Chevron said that the victim ran from the trailer to the convenience store for help. The clerk called the police and the victim passed out, the clerk said.

The victim was transported to the Sierra Vista Hospital trauma unit in San Luis Obispo.
