Rotary Club hosting ‘Peace is Possible’ conference in Paso Robles 

–The first annual Peace is Possible Conference in Paso Robles will be presented by local, national, and international leaders in peace literacy, and how to build and sustain peaceful families, communities, and countries.

Rotary Club of Paso Robles Sunrise will present “Peace is Possible” a conference featuring keynote speaker, Paul K. Chappell, West Point Graduate and Iraq War Veteran. Chappell will speak about realistic hope, the need for peace literacy, the myth that human beings are naturally violent and the possibility of ending war between nations.

Other speakers include Paso Robles Police Chief Ty Lewis, Founder of Petra Peacebuilders Bianca Neff, Wade Nomura, Richard Clayton PRUSD District Athletic Director, and Tim Bell DVM.

This conference will address the underlying causes of conflict. As shared by Rotary Club president Nancy Fiske, “We refuse to accept conflict as a way of life. Rotary projects foster understanding and provide communities with the skills to resolve conflicts.”

The conference will take place on Sept. 14, at the La Quinta Inn located at 2615 Buena Vista Drive, Paso Robles from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. To purchase tickets, please go to
