Resurfacing of Cuesta Grade suspended this week due to fire 

– A project to resurface U.S. Highway 101 in both directions from Reservoir Canyon Road to north of Cuesta Peak has been suspended this week due to the brush fire in the area.

Construction on this project could begin Sunday, Aug. 23, depending on the status of the fire, the need to ensure public safety and to maintain full access for emergency responders.
