Real estate trust buys Trader Joe’s shopping center in Templeton 

Company owns and manages 64 grocery-anchored shopping centers

–Phillips Edison Grocery Center REIT II, Inc. had announced it has acquired the 21,117 square-foot Vineyard Center in Templeton. Vineyard Center is anchored by the only Trader Joe’s between Templeton and Monterey.

Vineyard Center is located off Highway 101 at Vineyard Drive. The tenant lineup at the shopping center also includes J&R Meats, Mr. Pickles Sandwich Shop and Pier 46 Seafood.

Phillips Edison Grocery Center REIT II, Inc. is a public, non-traded, real estate investment trust that seeks to acquire and manage well-occupied grocery-anchored neighborhood shopping centers having a mix of national and regional retailers selling necessity-based goods and services, in strong demographic markets throughout the United States.

As of March 1, 2016, the company owned and managed an institutional quality retail portfolio consisting of 64 grocery-anchored shopping centers totaling 7.4 million square feet of gross leasable area.  For more information on the company, please visit the company’s website at www.grocerycenterREIT2.com.
