Police department brings outreach program to elementary school
– Officer Braun recently visited students at San Benito Elementary School as part of Operation Juicebox, a community outreach program designed to foster positive interactions between law enforcement and youth.
According to the Atascadero Police Department, Officer Braun spent time with students, encouraged positive choices, and distributed juice boxes during the visit.
The department said Operation Juicebox aims to build positive relationships between officers and young people through friendly interactions in a safe and welcoming environment.
The department indicated that additional school visits may take place through the program.
