– Hayseed and Housdon will host a fundraiser for Lighthouse Atascadero on Sunday, Nov. 1, from 12:30 to 3 p.m. at its tasting garage at 1122 Railroad St. in downtown Paso Robles, according to the Downtown Wine District.
Lighthouse Atascadero is an all-volunteer nonprofit dedicated to supporting and serving the needs of local youth by building a healthy, safe, and addiction-free community through awareness, prevention, intervention, and education.
Wine and food will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting Lighthouse, and the afternoon will include entertainment by Dave Tate. No ticket or RSVP is required.
Hayseed and Housdon will also host a fundraiser for CASA of San Luis Obispo County on Sunday, Nov. 15, from 1 to 3:30 p.m., with a performance by Emily Smith. CASA volunteers advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the local court system. No ticket or RSVP is required for that event either.
Meanwhile, the Downtown Wine District is partnering with the San Miguel Firefighter Association on a holiday toy drive for children in need. Through Thursday, Dec. 10, community members can bring an unwrapped toy to any participating winery and receive a complimentary wine tasting in return.
