Michael “Mike” Biscardi Lucas.
March 1, 1947 – August 15, 2026
– Michael “Mike” Biscardi Lucas, 79, passed away at home on August 15, 2026.
Born in Burbank, California, Mike later attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He moved to Atascadero in 1972, married Lida Mae in 1976, and opened Lucas Printing in 1977.
An active resident of the Atascadero community for over 50 years, Mike served with the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, and numerous local boards and committees, and was named Citizen of the Year in 1984. He also helped create Atascadero’s city emblem and motto.
He was predeceased by Lida Mae and is survived by his brother, James Lucas.
A Celebration of Life will be held October 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Templeton Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church.
