– Betty Lou Geiwitz passed away at home, surrounded by family on August 27, 2026, in Atascadero, CA, at the age of 94. Betty was born on October 20, 1931, in Los Angeles, CA.
Betty was a kind, warm-hearted, loving woman who deeply cared about others. She loved to send cards to people who were sick, recuperating, discouraged, or just needed a touch of encouragement.
Betty graduated from El Monte High School in 1949. She got engaged to her handsome Marine- William Geiwitz Jr, on graduation day. They were married September 10, 1949. By the time Betty was 20 she had 3 little girls.
