New endocrinologist joins specialty care clinic in Atascadero

– Oliver Ong, MD, has joined Adventist Health Specialty Care in Atascadero and is accepting new patients.
Ong is a board-certified endocrinologist who treats patients with hormonal and metabolic conditions, including diabetes, hypercalcemia, and disorders involving the thyroid, pituitary, adrenal glands, and menstrual health.
According to Adventist Health, Ong emphasizes health maintenance and preventive medicine and works with patients to evaluate available treatment options and establish expectations for ongoing care.
Ong said preventive care helps patients understand how small changes can improve their health outcomes.
He is fluent in English, Chinese-Mandarin, Hokkien, and Tagalog.
