Measure F-14 road work begins on 26 Atascadero streets

About 4 miles of roadway on 26 streets to be rehabilitated or resurfaced
– The City of Atascadero has awarded its 2026 Measure F-14 Pavement Rehabilitation and 2025 Resurfacing projects to Westrock General Engineering, with road work scheduled to begin this month, according to the city.
The projects will rehabilitate or resurface about 4 centerline miles, or 8 lane miles, of roadway segments identified through the city’s Pavement Management Program. Work was scheduled to begin Oct. 5.
Streets included in the projects are Andrita Road, Monterey Court, Ramage Drive, Santa Ynez Avenue, Venado Avenue, Carmelita Road, Colorado Road, Lake View Drive, Monterey Road, Navajoa Avenue, San Andres Avenue, Serra Avenue, San Ramon Road, Via Colonia Court, Avenida Manzana, Via Huerto Court, Calle Milano, Avion Road, Eliano Street, Via Cielo, Alcotan Lane, Azor Lane, North Ferrocarril Road, and De Anza Court, as well as the segment of El Camino Real from the railroad bridge to North Ferrocarril Road.
Last year, the city rehabilitated 1.6 centerline miles of roadway, including segments of Los Osos Road, San Dimas Road, and San Andres Avenue.
Measure F-14, a half-cent sales tax approved by voters in 2014 and renewed indefinitely in 2024 as Measure L-24, has funded nearly $27 million in neighborhood road improvements in Atascadero, according to the city. The funds have rehabilitated or resurfaced more than 50 centerline miles of neighborhood roads, more than a third of the city’s maintained street network.
A-Town Daily News recently reported on other road and storm drain work approved by the city.
