Kiwanis volunteers help replace fence at Charles Paddock Zoo 

Kiwanis volunteers help replace fence at Charles Paddock Zoo

– Several members of the Atascadero Kiwanis Club recently contributed to a community project by assisting with a fence replacement at Charles Paddock Zoo.

The volunteers who participated in this effort include Mike Schneider, Paul Porter, Susan Bumbaca, Albert Almodova, Trudy Meyer, Rex West, Glen Casey, Larry Wilson, and Mike Marquez.

Kiwanis International is a global organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and communities through service. Founded in 1915, Kiwanis clubs are made up of volunteers who work together to address local needs and promote positive change. Members participate in a variety of community service projects, ranging from supporting education and health initiatives to enhancing public spaces.

With a focus on helping children and fostering a spirit of community, Kiwanis clubs operate both locally and internationally, striving to make a meaningful impact through their service and leadership efforts.
