Highway 41 embankment improvement project under near Morro Bay
Highway will remain open during construction
– Construction on a project to construct a soldier pile wall to protect the failing embankment below the roadway near Highway 41 is expected to complete by May 2023.
The $1.7 million project will introduce a 24/7 signalized one-way traffic control on Highway 41 about one mile east of the Morro Creek Ranch Avocado Farm. Highway 41 is expected to remain open during construction and delays are not expected to exceed 15 minutes.
The contractor for the project is Souza Construction Inc.
