Greyhound sports update 

A-Town Hounds–The Atascadero boys basketball team beat Templeton 48-42 Friday night at home. The Greyhounds are now tied with the Eagles for second place in the Central Coast League. Each has a 5-2 record. Morro Bay leads the conference with a record of 7-1. The Greyhounds host Orcutt Academy Tuesday night. Orcutt is 0-7 in conference. Tip-off is at 6:45 Tuesday night at Atascadero gym.

The Atascadero girls basketball team also plays Orcutt Academy Tuesday night. The Greyhounds are 3-7 in conference (4-14 overall.). Orcutt Academy is 6-3 in the Central Coast League, (18-6 overall.). That game to be played at 6:45 Tuesday night at Lakeview Junior High School in Orcutt.

The Atascadero boys soccer team beat St. Joseph 2-1 Friday night in Santa Maria. The Greyhounds improve to 8-2, (11-12-2 overall.). They are in first place in the Ocean League. The Greyhounds play at Morro Bay on Friday, February 2nd.

The Atascadero girls soccer team beat Pioneer Valley Tuesday 2-0 for their fifth consecutive victory. They have shut-out their last three opponents. The Greyhounds are 7-2 in conference, (13-4-4 overall.) They are tied for second place with Arroyo Grande. Tuesday night, the Greyhounds play at San Luis Obispo High School. The Tigers lead the Mountain League with a record of 9-1, (16-2-1 overall.). Both the Tigers and the Greyhounds have won their last five games.
