Family holding vigil for Thomas R. Jodry
The family continues to seek answers about his death
– On Sept. 14, the Jodry family will hold a vigil at the Marsh Street parking structure in San Luis Obispo from 1-6 p.m. for Thomas Robert Jodry.
Thomas Jodry of Atascadero was 21 years old when he fell from the Marsh Street parking structure and passed away on Sept. 14, 2019.
According to the family, he had spent his last day alive with a new acquaintance David Allen Knight.
“They were supposed to look at art, but instead Knight took Tommy to the Frog and Peach bar on Higuera,” said father Bill Jodry.
Thomas Jodry’s blood alcohol level was .38 when he died, which spurred the family to file a civil complaint against Knight.
“We continue to look for witnesses from that night who may have seen or heard something at the bar, the parking structure or the pedestrian walkway by the movie theaters,” said Bill Jodry.
The family invites the community to join them for the vigil to honor their late son and reach out with any information about Knight at 805-538-8753.
