ECHO shelter’s 15th annual Long Walk Home returns to Atascadero Sept. 26
– The El Camino Homeless Organization will host its 15th annual Long Walk Home fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 26 at ECHO Atascadero.
The event will begin with an awareness walk for individuals, families, friends, and teams. ECHO said funds raised through the event support its emergency shelter, housing programs, case management, and supportive services throughout San Luis Obispo County.
Following the walk, the organization will hold a community barbecue with food, live music, lawn games, and an opportunity for attendees to connect.
Check-in begins at 10 a.m.
Registration costs $45 per person, while children can attend for free. Registration includes the awareness walk, a Long Walk Home T-shirt, barbecue lunch, and live music.
