County Education Career Fair to be held Feb. 28

— The San Luis Obispo County Office of Education (SLOCOE) will be hosting a career fair at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo for local school districts on Wednesday, Feb. 28, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Room 5401. Districts will provide information on their 2018-2019 school year employment opportunities for both classified and certificated positions.

Districts represented at the career fair include: Atascadero USD, Brandman University, Cayucos ESD, Coast USD, Lucia Mar USD, Paso Robles JUSD, Pleasant Valley JUESD, San Antonio UESD, San Luis Coastal USD, San Miguel JUSD, Shandon JUSD, SLOCOE, and Templeton USD.

School districts in San Luis Obispo County could hire “a minimum of 125 and 150 teacher positions per year for the next five years,” – Dr. James Brescia, County Superintendent of Schools.
