City to present ‘Drive-in Movies in the Park’
–The City of Atascadero’s Recreation Division has announced that they are changing this year’s Movies in the Garden event to Movies in the Park. To keep everyone safe and keep our movies on track, we will be offering Drive-In Movies at Paloma Creek Park.
In order to adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines, reservations are required. Due to the limited amount of parking spaces per show, the city asks that you make one reservation per family. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis and can be made at: my805tix.com
Following is the movie line-up:
- Saturday, Aug. 8 – Frozen II (PG)
- Saturday, Aug. 15 – Sonic (PG)
- Saturday, Aug. 22 – Onward (PG)
- Saturday, Aug. 29 – Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker (PG-13)
Gates open at 7 p.m.; Show will begin at sundown or close to 8 p.m.
All shows will be held at Paloma Creek Park located at 11665 Viejo Camino in Atascadero and are family-friendly. Food is available for purchase from participating food vendors. Make sure you have your FM station ready to tune into 103.9 FM for the movie audio. Please keep in mind that you must stay with your vehicle and socially distanced from your neighbor.
