City of Atascadero seeks coffee vendors for Lake Park

Atascadero LakeFest, Children's Day in the Park will return July 18

Applications are due by Aug. 17 for the pilot program

– The City of Atascadero is accepting applications from local coffee vendors for a pilot vending program at Atascadero Lake Park that will begin Sept. 1.

The coffee vending program will operate daily from 7 to 11 a.m. beginning Sept. 1 through the end of the year at Atascadero Lake Park.

According to the city, the pilot program is intended to provide coffee options for visitors to the Central Coast Zoo and parkgoers, as coffee is not currently available at the park. The city said it will consider expanding the program in the future based on its success.

Participating vendors must commit to operating on dates within the requested timeframe, provide a small, quiet generator because electricity is not available on site, pay 9% of coffee sales, carry $1 million in general liability insurance naming the City of Atascadero as an additional insured, and maintain a current City business license and valid Health Department permit.

Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Aug. 17 and should be submitted to the Colony Park Community Center, c/o Event Organizer, 5599 Traffic Way, Atascadero, CA 93422.
