City of Atascadero, North County Farmers Market presents ‘Summer Siesta Series’
–The City of Atascadero and the North County Farmer’s Market have announced the “Summer Siesta Series,” kicking off this Wednesday, June 19 from 3-6 p.m. This will be the first of three Summer Siestas to be held at Farmers Market this summer. Each month there will be a designated Siesta date to come out and enjoy music, food and games!
The upcoming Farmers Market for June 19 will kick off the Central Coast Reserve weekend! With the Atascadero Lakeside Wine Festival on Saturday, this Tap Takeover will give you an opportunity to sample wine and cider from Bristol’s Cider House and Lone Madrone Winery. You will be able to purchase what you like too! There will be samples of gourmet recipes from Catering by Chef Charlie and Gypsy Flame Pizza. You will be able to sample and even purchase food from each of these fabulous Chefs. They will be providing their secret recipes so you can purchase fresh produce and ingredients at the market! The Atascadero High School Cheer team will kick off the event at 3 p.m. and then enjoy music by solo artist, Martin Paris! Bring a chair and stay a while in the beautiful surroundings of the Sunken Gardens.

June 19: Samples & recipes by Chef Charlie & Gypsy Flame Grilled Pizza, Bristol’s Cider House & Lone Madrone Winery. Entertainment by Atascadero High School Cheer Team & music by solo artist Martin Paris
July 10: Samples & recipes by Hungry Mother Truck, music by the Duo Tones with Ted Waterhouse & Johnny Johnson! Enjoy a round of Cornhole to practice your skills for the upcoming 4th Annual Showdown Cornhole Tournament Sept. 21 & 22.
Aug. 7: Another Tap Takeover as we kick off the 4th Annual Central Coast Cider Festival set for August 10th! Enjoy sample tastings from our beverage vendors and you can purchase too! Motions Academy of Dance will kick off the event followed by Music from Tennessee Jimmy! Cornhole boards will be out so you continue sharpening your skills!
Regular Farmers Market still takes place each Wednesday in the Sunken Gardens from 3-6 p.m.
