City of Atascadero hosts short-term rental workshop Feb. 5

Workshop is intended to gather public input on potential updates to local short-term rental regulations

– The City of Atascadero will host a drop-in short-term rental workshop on Thursday, Feb. 5, from 4 to 7 p.m. at City Hall.

The workshop is intended to gather public input on potential updates to local short-term rental regulations. City officials are considering new rules aimed at promoting the responsible and safe operation of short-term rentals, including vacation rentals and homestays, within the community.

City planning staff will be available throughout the event to answer questions, share information, and hear feedback related to possible new standards. Community members are encouraged to attend based on their experiences with short-term rentals, including operators, neighbors, and other interested individuals.

The workshop will take place at City Hall, located in Atascadero. Attendees may arrive at any time during the scheduled hours.

Questions about the workshop may be directed to the City of Atascadero Community Development Department at (805) 461-5035 or through the city’s website.
