– The Atascadero Police Department invites residents to attend its annual National Night Out on Oct. 1 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will take place at Sunken Gardens in Downtown Atascadero, located at 6505 El Camino Real.

National Night Out is a community-building campaign that promotes partnerships between law enforcement and residents. The event aims to establish camaraderie among neighborhoods, enhancing relationships between neighbors and law enforcement while fostering a safer and more caring community. It also provides a platform for police and neighbors to engage in positive interactions.

Attendees can meet members of the Atascadero Police Department and Public Safety partners, receive safety tips, and enjoy various exhibitions.

The event is free and open to all community members.
