Atascadero High School Class of 1976 plans reunion
Reunion activities will include a gathering during Hot August Cruise
– Plans are underway for the Atascadero High School Class of 1976’s 50th reunion, scheduled for Aug. 22 at the Atascadero Elks Lodge, 1516 El Camino Real in Atascadero.
The reunion will feature a barbecue dinner, music, and opportunities for classmates to reconnect. Organizers said surrounding graduating classes are also invited to attend.
Classmates are encouraged to create a profile on the reunion website, post photos, RSVP, purchase tickets, share photographs, and add memorials for classmates who have died.
Tickets cost $55 per person. Those who prefer not to use the website may send a check payable to Maria Mueller at 7900 Santa Cruz Road, Atascadero, CA 93422, or pay through Venmo at @Maria-Mueller-12. Organizers said a confirmation email will be sent after payment is received.
Organizers also announced plans for a class gathering during Atascadero’s Hot August Cruise on the evening before the reunion. A location along El Camino Real will be announced at a later date.
Home2 Suites by Hilton, located at 1800 El Camino Real in Atascadero, is offering a 10% discount for reunion guests. Organizers said the hotel is within walking distance of the reunion venue. Guests may use the code “Class of 1976 AHS Reunion” when booking directly with the hotel.
