Atascadero Community Band’s summer concert series returns

Concert series starts June 11
– The Atascadero Community Band has announced its return to the Atascadero Lake Park bandstand for a summer concert series. Following a successful indoor season, the band will perform outdoors in a local tradition.
Starting Tuesday, June 11, and continuing each Tuesday through Aug. 13, the band will perform from 7-8 p.m. There will be a bonus Ensembles concert on Aug. 20 to conclude the summer series.
Residents are invited to bring friends, family, blankets, and chairs for a midweek break under the stars. The free concerts offer an opportunity to enjoy Atascadero evenings with the community.
For nearly four decades, these summer performances have marked the start of warmer weather and summer activities for Atascadero residents and neighboring towns. The concerts and accessible parking are free. The band welcomes their loyal audience and new music lovers, promising enjoyable Tuesday evenings at the Lake Park.
The Atascadero Community Band, performing since the mid-1980s, is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization. Their mission is to bring music to local residents while supporting nearby charities. The band’s annual operating budget is funded by donations from their summer audiences.
