Update: Missing Atascadero woman found safe, returned to family

–Atascadero police say Sherry Kohler was located safely on Wednesday. She was found in Ragged Point and was returned to her family.

At-risk woman reported missing from Atascadero

–On Monday at 9:43 a.m., the Atascadero Police Department responded to the 5400 block of Regio Place regarding Sherry Kohler having left the residence in a vehicle. Kohler is described as suffering from dementia. She is 73 years old, 5’5” tall, 130 lbs., grey hair and was last seen wearing pink and white pajamas. Kohler is driving a 2011 Mercedes Benz with California license plate 6SJX802.

Atascadero Police is attempting to locate Kohler and is requesting anyone who may have seen her to please contact the Atascadero Police Department, Investigations Sergeant, Jeff Wilshusen at (805) 461-5051.

An update will be provided when more information becomes available.
