Art Center Morro Bay to host bird-themed art show
– The “For the Birds” art exhibit will run Jan. 6 through Feb. 16 at Art Center Morro Bay, 835 Main St.
The exhibit will feature paintings, sculptures, and other media focused on birds. Organizers said visitors will be able to view and support work by local artists who interpret the theme through various styles. The annual exhibit highlights indigenous bird species and bird-related subjects connected to the Central Coast of California.
An artist’s reception is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 11, from 2 to 4 p.m.
