Youth volleyball league returns to Atascadero this summer

Registration deadline is June 4

– The City of Atascadero has opened registration for its co-ed youth volleyball league. The program emphasizes learning fundamentals, player participation, teamwork, and enjoyment of the game.

The league is open to students in third through eighth grades. Practices and games will take place on Tuesday or Thursday evenings at the Colony Park Community Center. Practice begins June 17, and league games start July 1. The season concludes during the first week of August, with final games scheduled for Aug. 7. The deadline to register is June 4.

Game and practice times vary by grade level: third and fourth graders will play at 5:30 p.m., fifth and sixth graders at 6:30 p.m., and seventh and eighth graders at 4:30 p.m.

Each participant will receive a team shirt and a participation award.

The registration fee is $100 per player for Atascadero residents and $110 for non-residents. Families registering more than one child will receive a $5 discount for each additional participant.

The deadline to register is June 4. For more information, contact the Colony Park Community Center at (805) 470-3360 or email [email protected].
