WiVi Conference and Trade-show exceeds projections
Organizers estimated that over 1500 people attended last week’s two-day WiVi Central Coast Wine Industry Conference with 180 vendors making 2015 the most well attended year for the organization.
“We saw more vintners, growers, business managers, enologists and hospitality managers than ever before,” said WiVi Director Becky Zelinski. “The word is out that WiVi is the place to meet with preferred vendors, gain insight on relevant topics, and network with peers – all in our backyard.”
WiVi Central Coast hosted a two-day conference including sessions on phenolics in winemaking, designing an efficient winery, the ins and outs of custom crush facilities, industry outlooks for the coming year, and an overview of WiVi sponsor Wine Business Monthly’s salary survey. Adjunct to the conference, the WiVi Trade-show featured industry-related vendors from cork-makers and bottling machines to solarponics and software developers.
