Winter Harmonies concert features wind orchestra, handbell choir duet
Wind orchestra marks 25 years with holiday music celebration
– The San Luis Obispo Wind Orchestra will mark its 25th anniversary with a special concert, “Winter Harmonies,” on Saturday, Dec. 7. The performances are scheduled for 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the San Luis Obispo United Methodist Church, located at 1515 Fredericks St.
The event will feature a collaboration with the Atascadero United Methodist Church Handbell Choir. The program includes a variety of festive music, such as “Russian Christmas Music,” “Sleigh Ride” by Leroy Anderson, and a sing-along segment designed to engage the audience in the seasonal celebration.
