Winery fundraiser raises money for wounded vets, their families
Last year, over $24,000 was raised by this event
–On April 9, Leon Tackitt and his wife Cindy, will be hosting their 5th annual Warriors Helping Warriors fundraiser at their winery, Tackitt Family Vineyards in San Miguel. Proceeds go to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Warrior Foundation. This foundation offers support and assistance to both active duty, veteran and wounded EOD military, their families and the families of fallen EOD warriors.
Financial, psychological, educational, peer to peer assistance and ongoing support is provided through The EOD Warrior Foundation, whose mission “is to disarm the challenges of the EOD family by providing our support with compassion and caring to every individual we serve.”
Join Leon and Cindy Tackitt at their fundraiser on April 9th. Have fun helping on the bottling line. Make homemade pizzas. Try out skeet shooting, robot racing and various other activities. Enjoy the daylong flow of music, food and of course, Tackitt Family Vineyards wine, featuring the EOD label, proceeds going to the EOD Foundation.
