Wildfire near downtown Cambria contained

The Cambria Bridge Fire was contained at 3 acres yesterday. Main Street was closed and residents on Bridge Street and Wall Street were evacuated.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to 3 acres within a few hours. No buildings were damaged, and no one was injured in the blaze.

–San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Deputies have confirmed a wildfire in Cambria. Sheriff’s deputies are in the process of evacuating residents who live in the area of Wall Street and Bridge Street and in the area of the Santa Rosa Cemetery. Those living nearby to those areas should prepare to evacuate.

Deputies and Cal Fire on the scene. No estimate on how many acres have burned at this time. More updates to follow.
