–Wild Fields Brewhouse is holding it’s Grand Opening this Friday in Atascadero. The brewery is located in the old Atascadero City Hall, across the plaza from Galaxy theater.
It’s the brainchild of Jackie and Ryan Fields, who have more than 25 years of combined experience in the brewery business.
Ryan Fields graduated from Templeton High School, and then attended UC San Diego. He became interested in breweries in college. After he graduated, he went to work in breweries in the San Diego area. Later, he helped start a brewery in Long Beach. He has more than ten years of experience brewing beer commercially.
It’s the brainchild of Jackie and Ryan Fields, who have more than 25 years of combined experience in the brewery business.
He met Jackie while working at a Brewery in Southern California. Jackie started working in commercial kitchens when she was 13-years-old. After graduating from UC Irvine, Jackie also worked at breweries in Southern California. She is managing the Wild Fields Brewery, while Ryan is the Brewmaster.
Jackie says, “Since Ryan and I met, this has been our dream- to put together a brewery of our own. We found our home in Atascadero, and found a place to make our business happen.”
They have hired about 15 employees, and may hire two more.
The Brewery will hold its Grand Opening Friday when Atascadero holds its “Light up the Downtown Holiday Celebration.”
