Donations made to Atascadero fire and police departments
Westar Associates recently donated $2500 each to the Atascadero police and fire departments.
Westar Associates donated $2,500 each to support police and fire department activities
–On Wednesday, June 15 Westar Associates presented a donation of $2,500 each to both the Atascadero Police Department and Fire and Emergency Services Department. The donations will be used for the fire departments highest priority needs, potentially emergency response or safety equipment. All donations to the police department go to the Atascadero Police Association who support and put donations towards Atascadero youth sports purposes.
City of Atascadero Mayor Tom O’Malley said the Atascadero police and fire personnel consistently provide the citizens of the community with public safety services of the highest caliber imaginable, with both compassion and true dedication.
Westar Associates Representative Kaila Leck said Westar Associates enjoys giving back to local organizations and is dedicated to creating a positive effect on the communities they serve and take pride in helping each community. “It has been 17 years since Westar started doing business in Atascadero and they greatly admire the men and women of the Atascadero fire and police departments who risk their lives every day to ensure the safety of the local community,” Leck said. “This contribution is their way of showing appreciation and support for these individuals and the important services that they provide to the community.”
