Volunteers needed for Tamale Festival 

Popular local event rescheduled to May 6

– The Friends of Atascadero Lake are calling on volunteers to assist in the upcoming Atascadero Tamale Festival. The popular event was rescheduled to May 6.

The organization will be managing the drink ticket sales booths at the festival, alongside The Friends of The Zoo. The event is set to run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the organizers are seeking at least four or five people to work each two-hour shift, from 11-1 p.m. and 1-3 p.m.

Volunteers will be tasked with checking identification and wristbands, as well as handling ticket sales for all drinks at $10 each. To volunteer, email Nancy Hair at [email protected].

The Friends of Atascadero Lake aims to improve and enhance the beauty and universal appreciation of the historical Atascadero Lake.
