Veterans resource fair to provide information and services in Atascadero
Event coming to Atascadero Lake Park April 11
– The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) 2814 of Atascadero, Calif., and the San Luis Obispo County Veterans Services Office are collaborating to host the Veterans Resource Fair on Saturday, April 22. The free event aims to connect local veterans and their families with organizations and companies that offer the services and benefits they need.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event will take place at the Atascadero Lake Park near the bandstand, offering a range of non-profit organizations, government agencies, and private companies providing information on health and wellness, financial assistance, social opportunities, employment opportunities, and more.
Moreover, the Kiwanis Club of Atascadero will be selling their renowned tri-tip sandwich lunches from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with veterans’ lunches being sponsored by members of the community.
