Two men resist arrest in Atascadero
–Two men were taken into custody last week for resisting arrest, according to the Atascadero Police Department.
The first suspect was Kejuan Guy Bynum, 25, who was contacted early in the afternoon on Aug. 13 by police. Bynum reportedly fled on foot from officers. He was apprehended and arrested on suspicion of obstructing and resisting an officer and violating his parole.
The second suspect was Nicholas Ryan Livermore, 36, who was involved in a traffic collision involving a motorcycle. Police had been searching for the suspect after fleeing the scene of the collision earlier that day. Officers located him at the Circle K Gas Station in Atascadero. They approached him to make contact as he had violated the terms of his conditional release from state prison. Livermore attempted to resist arrest. Atascadero police arrived on scene and assisted in the arrest of Livermore. He was arrested Aug. 14 on suspicion of a felony, resisting and obstructing an officer, and violating his post community release supervision.
