Two injured in Morro Bay stabbing 

Stabbings occured Friday night

Morro Bay Police Department officers responded to the 1700 block of Main Street underneath the Highway 1 overpass on Friday at 9:08 p.m. after receiving reports of an assault with a deadly weapon. Officers located one involved party suffering from multiple stab wounds. With assistance from SLO SO deputies and CA State Parks officers, a second involved party was found in the Taco Bell parking lot, also with a stab wound. Both subjects were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The investigation revealed that both subjects, who are known to each other, were involved in an altercation prior to the stabbing. Both are being treated for moderate injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation.
