Twin Cities names Robert Cook Chief Nursing Officer
–Twin Cities Community Hospital has appointed Robert Cook as its new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
Effective immediately, Cook assumes responsibility for all nursing and designated patient care functions within Twin Cities Community Hospital. He also oversees and coordinates the nursing units and their daily operations. Cook most recently served as Interim CNO at Twin Cities, and previously held the titles of Chief Quality Officer, Director of Clinical Quality & Risk Management and Director of Medical Surgical Services.
“Robert is a proven leader who has earned the respect and trust of our staff, physicians, patients and Governing Board,” said Mark Lisa, CEO of Twin Cities Community Hospital. “Throughout the last two decades, Robert has held several key positions at Twin Cities. In this new role, he will continue to provide exceptional executive clinical leadership to Twin Cities Community Hospital and all of the communities we serve.”
Cook earned his Associate Degree of Nursing from San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton and Bachelor of Science in Nursing Administration from Regis University in Denver, Colo. He also earned a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va.
Cook volunteers as a triage nurse as part of medical missions in San Vicente, Mexico, and has also volunteered in Kimbe, Papua New Guinea as part of YWAM Ships medical mission. Locally, he served as a member of the Oversight Committee with the Templeton Unified School District.
