‘Tidal Zone’ exhibit coming to Art Center Morro Bay

– Art Center Morro Bay will present, “Tidal Zone” from Feb. 23 – April 3. Meet the artists at the opening reception, Sunday, Feb. 26, from 2-4 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Art Center Morro Bay is open 12 – 4 p.m. daily. and located at 835 Main Street, in Morro Bay.
Artists have long been inspired by the ocean’s movement and transformative power. The sea can be described in an endless number of ways. Its power and beauty can be refreshing and magnificent, seductive, or its mysterious vastness can become turbulent, terrifying, and downright humbling.
During this exhibit, artists are asked to capture the exhilarating sensation of the sea.
Don’t miss this immersive exhibit featuring a wide array of ocean-themed artworks, offered in a wide variety of media including the sculptures of Anne Grannis.
