Thursday is last day to register for kids’ winter drama workshop
–Thursday is the last day to register for Templeton High Drama Fringe Festival Cast and Crew’s winter drama program for grades 2 – 6. The program will run from Dec. 28-31 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Templeton Performing Arts Center.
The curriculum involves: developing students’ skills as actors and encouraging their artistic talents, “in a fun, supportive environment.” They will be working to develop what each actor needs in order to communicate on stage: the actor’s voice, body and mind. They will also explore aspects of theatre, stage presence and performance techniques.
This workshop is a fundraiser for the Templeton High Drama Fringe Festival Cast and Crew who will be performing “Little Shop of Horrors” in Edinburgh, Scotland in August 2016.
The cost is $150 per student and registration forms are available at Templeton High front office or on the high school’s website.
Enrollment is limited, and will be filled in a first come, first served basis.
