Three new Atascadero restaurants celebrate grand openings
—The Central Coast has three new restaurants to enjoy with the openings of Nautical Cowboy, Shrimp Broil, and Central Coast Cafe in Atascadero. The restaurants vary from American cuisine, seafood, and breakfast pastries, respectively.
The Nautical Cowboy is located at the Carlton Hotel and includes a bar and dining room. The menu focuses on American cuisine, including burgers, pasta, salads and cheese plates. Fine wine and beer is also served. The restaurant had a soft opening in March 2018. The Nautical Cowboy is open Sunday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. For more information, visit the-carlton.com.
Shrimp Broil is a seafood oriented restaurant located at 7377 El Camino Real. A majority of the seafood comes from Templeton based Pier 46. The menu ranges from lobster, shrimp, fish and chips, fish tacos, and salads. In addition to the savory entrees, customers can enjoy desserts such as the deep fried cheesecake and creme brulee. Central Coast Cafe, located at 5810 Traffic Way, is a must-stop eatery for all things breakfast and lunch. Savory breakfast items like eggs benedict and breakfast burritos are served, along with sweet pastries. Lunch options includes sandwiches and stir fry. The Central Coast Cafe is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. For more information, visit visitatascadero.com.
