Three motorcyclists arrested after high-speed chase
Motorcyclists fled at speeds of more than 120 mph, CHP says
–Three men riding motorcycles were arrested after they led police on a high-speed chase on Saturday in San Luis Obispo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At about 4 p.m. on Saturday, a Templeton CHP officer attempted to make a traffic stop on three motorcyclists that were going about 100 mph on southbound Highway 101 at North Spring Street in Paso Robles. All three motorcyclists fled at speeds of more than 120 mph, using off-ramps and on-ramps to avoid being caught, according to CHP.
Additional CHP units and a helicopter followed the motorcyclists to an address on Graves Avenue in San Luis Obispo.
Jonathan Alexander Martinez, 19, of Perris, Walter Arreolarodriguez, 21, of Santa Clara, and Ulises Penalopez, 21, of Mountain View, were arrested on suspicion of felony evading. The motorcycles were impounded.
