The Doobie Brothers to perform at Vina Robles

–The Doobie Brothers will be coming to Vina Robles Ampitheatre for a performance on Friday, Oct. 21. The show starts at 8 p.m., doors open at 6:30.
The Doobie Brothers have been delivering harmony-laden, guitar-driven rock and roll for over four decades, selling more than 48 million albums and winning four Grammy awards.
In 2011, the band marked a new chapter, filming a CMT Crossroads special with superstar Luke Bryan and appearing for the first time on the Grand Ole Opry. Their relationship with Nashville continues to unfold with the 2014 release of their new album “Southbound” on Sony Music Nashville. The album features collaborations with country music’s top stars re-recording their iconic hits.
In all, the Doobies have tallied up five top 10 singles and 16 top 40 hits. Beginning with their multi-million-selling sophomore collection Toulouse Street (1972), the Doobies have 3 multi-platinum, 7 platinum and 14 Gold albums. Their Best of the Doobies (1976) has sold more than 12 million copies – a rare “diamond record.”
