Templeton man arrested for possession, distribution of child porn
–Jeffrey Paul Gentile, 29, of Templeton, has been arrested on one count of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography detectives, both of which are felonies, according to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement team served a search warrant at a home in the 20 block of Lone Oak Way in Templeton on Thursday. Detectives had received information that child pornography was being downloaded and distributed from a computer at that residence. Detectives seized two computers, five laptops and 25 hard drives at that location which contained photos and videos of pre-pubescent children engaged in sexual acts.
The images appear to have been downloaded from the internet and then distributed. In all, 30 terabytes of data were seized and are in the process of being forensically analyzed for child pornography. The investigation is continuing.
