Templeton launches summer concerts with Tom Petty tribute
The free weekly Concerts in the Park series will continue Wednesdays through Aug. 20
– Templeton Recreation kicked off its summer music series yesterday at Templeton Park with Petty Party, a tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. The concert ran from 6 to 8 p.m.
The free weekly Concerts in the Park series will continue every Wednesday through Aug. 20, except for July 23, offering ten weeks of live music. The lineup includes rock, reggae, country, funk, and soul.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, enjoy food from local vendors, and purchase beer, wine or cocktails from Templeton Mercantile.
The 2025 concert lineup includes ULTRA with alternative pop-rock dance hits on June 18; Joy Bonner Band performing funky, soulful rock on June 25; Ras Danny Reggae on July 2; and The Molly Ringwald Project, an ’80s tribute dance band, on July 9.
Other acts are ghost/monster on July 16; Josh Rosenblum Band on July 30; Talie and The Troublemakers on Aug. 6; The Platinum Beat on Aug. 13; and Monte Mills and The Lucky Horseshoe Band on Aug. 20.
