–Officials with the Department of State Hospitals are investigating an apparent overdose at the Atascadero State Hospital, according to a report by KSBY.

The patient who suffered the suspected overdose on Tuesday is reportedly in a “stable” condition.

The investigation is looking to determine the substance involved in the overdose and how the incident occurred.
