Supervisor candidate Ellen Beraud endorsed by Salud Carbajal
–24th District Representative Salud Carbajal (D-Santa Barbara) has endorsed Ellen Beraud in her campaign for 5th District Supervisor in San Luis Obispo County.
“From her dedication to environmental issues to her strong economic vision for the Central Coast, Ellen clearly understands the needs of our community,” he said. “I believe her leadership will mark the beginning of the change we need to see in San Luis Obispo County.”
Ellen Beraud, former Mayor of Atascadero, business owner, and healthcare professional, is the challenger to incumbent Debbie Arnold for 5th District County Supervisor. She and Rep. Carbajal share initiatives in their opposition to offshore oil drilling and support for more renewable energy production to bolster the regional economy before the closure of Diablo Canyon.
